Farm Smart in covered crops
The Farm Smart service is also available for crops grown under cover.
Installing a dedicated Pessl/Metos weather station in your tunnels or greenhouses allows you to monitor disease infections as well as the climatic conditions in the facility. The system is particularly useful for tunnel and greenhouse crops without climate computers and a climate control system.
With data on air temperature, air humidity, and especially information on the leaf dampening period, you are able to effectively plan protective treatments and manage the airing or fogging system, so as to provide your plants with the optimal conditions for growth.
The station can be equipped with additional sensors, e.g. for measuring EC or pH.
